Five ways to reduce business waste

Finally, ask any suppliers if they can send their goods in less or no packaging. Plastic packaging is one of the main culprits of waste creation in many businesses. These days, it is fairly common for suppliers to offer more environmentally friendly packaging options – but you would usually have to ask. Even if they say no for now, this at least communicates to them that the demand is there and may encourage them to look into packaging reductions in future.
