Solo defies employment trends

Solo employing locals

Solo Resource Recovery is expanding, and in the process generating local employment growth in several regions of Australia.

In stark contrast to current trends with Holden and Qantas announcing thousands of redundancies, we have successfully tendered for new contracts in Melbourne and Adelaide, due to commence in mid 2014. We are also growing our range of services in Western Australia and New South Wales..

Over 50 new positions for drivers and support staff have been created. Further job creation in Chinderah, at our manufacturing facility on the far north coast of NSW, has seen over 25 engineering positions filled to build the waste collection vehicles needed to perform the upcoming contracts.

Solo is passionate about employing people and purchasing from suppliers from the local communities in which we operate. Our culture focusses on providing excellent services as well as being a corporate citizen that contributes to the health and success of the regions we operate in.
